Beckenham Fireworks in the Park is a family-friendly fireworks display for Bonfire Night that has been run since 1946. We have a quiet display at 6pm (fireworks for smaller children / autism-friendly) and a main firework display at 7.45pm. Gates open on Croydon Road and Village Way in Beckenham at 5pm.
Our fireworks partner and lead sponsor is Frontier Fireworks. Based in East Sussex, Frontier provide professional, creative fireworks displays all over the UK.
Food stalls this year include burgers, jerk chicken, jacket potatoes, pulled pork, hot dogs, ice cream as well as warming drinks – baileys hot chocolate anyone? They’ll be serving from 5pm and the rides and stalls will be running all evening until the end of the fireworks.
*2017* Ticket Prices for the Beckenham Fireworks:
In 2017: No advance sales and cash only.
Primary and preschool children – free (must be accompanied)
Children (11+) – £5
Adults (18+)– £10
Family ticket – £20 (2 adults 2 children (11+) or 1 adult and 3 children (11+))
Most of Beckenham seems to turn out for the display that has been running for more than 70 years. Last year the 5th Beckenham South Scout Group took over the organisation from the local Round Table and they have continued the tradition of using the profits to support local charities.
Get there early to pick your spot, grab a bite to eat, find a flashing toy for your kids and have a go at the funfair.
This is the main bonfire night display for Beckenham, Penge and surrounding areas. Sadly there’ll be no bonfire but we will be throwing ca.£10,000 of fireworks up into the sky so it’ll be a fantastic night.
We will have an entrance in Croydon Road and another in Village Way in Beckenham.
Postcode for Croydon Rd Entrance: BR3 3PR
Postcode for Village Way Entrance: BR3 3NJ
No pets, alcohol, sparklers or fireworks may be brought into the event.
The minimal bags and early start time is a great idea and the best option for young families. The food stalls are great too.
